What are some of the things should be looking out for? Check out the photographers portfolio. Your newborn doesn’t stay small forever, in fact they grow up so quickly it’s not funny. So you want someone who obviously knows what they are doing, by looking at their portfolio you’ll get an understanding pretty quickly as to how good they are. It’s also important to check out the photographers portfolio (most have online portfolios these days) to make sure you like the style of newborn photography they produce. There is no point in hiring someone only to find out that you don’t like their style at all.
